- 📖 Galling categories investigations in stainless steels – Using 3D profilometry, SEM, EBSD, and TEM wear data of stainless steel alloys, three galling categories were identified. It was observed that hcp or martensitic transformations occur, with austenite transforming into Strain-Induced Martensite (SIM) as either pseudo-body-centered (α') or hexagonal close-packed (ε).
